Ponte Vedra Community Association Sweetheart Dance

Friday, February 13 2026

6:00pm – 10:30pm

The 2026 Ponte Vedra Community Association Sweetheart Dance will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026 in the Ponte Vedra Inn and Club Ballroom.  We will once again feature a sumptuous dinner buffet, live band and dancing.  Whether you have been attending for 40 years or will be joining us for the first time, it is sure to be a memorable night with old and new friends alike.  This much anticipated annual event will incorporate many of your favorite traditions with a few new twists to keep the evening fresh and interesting.

At registration you will receive a seating place card as well as an icebreaker raffle game. When the doors to the ballroom open for seating at 6:30, you will use your place card to reserve your chosen seat. Your completed icebreaker becomes your raffle drawing ticket so make sure you participate to be eligible for our drawing.

This year our live music will be provided by The Cloud 9 Band.  The award-winning Cloud 9 Band performs a wide variety of music from the past seven decades delivering fun unpredictable sets.  While diversity is certainly a key to their success, pure rock-n-roll is always the driving force that has fans clamoring for more.  Put on your dancing shoes for what is sure to be a memorable evening.

The formal invitation will be sent the first full week of January so make sure you respond when you get the email as space will be limited.

Our 2025 Tree Lighting & Toy Drive

Thank you to everyone who joined us for PVCA's Tree Lighting. What a beautiful and heart-warming evening it turned out to be! Even with the rainy weather pushing us indoors, the energy, turnout, and community spirit made it one of our most special celebrations yet.

We are thrilled to share that our toy drive was a tremendous success. With your generosity, we collected over 250 toys for our local fire department to distribute to children in need this holiday season. The firefighters were deeply appreciative, and the kids absolutely loved their chance to tour the fire truck and meet our local heroes.

It was a great evening spent with neighbors, friends, and families, full of conversation, connection, and holiday cheer. A huge thank you to PVIC for co-hosting and supporting this event, and to everyone who contributed to making it such a memorable night.

As we welcome 2026, let’s carry the spirit of the evening forward,  reaching out to neighbors and friends, and welcoming new friendships along the way. The true light of the holidays comes from the community we build together, and we’re grateful to share it with all of you.

Our FIRST PVCA Mix & Mingle!

Our first Mix & Mingle was a huge success! STAY TUNED for another one in April 2026!

The Difference Between PVCA & MSD

We have received many emails from PVCA members recently asking for help with code enforcement which is not within PVCA's purview.

PVCA is primarily a social organization that builds membership, welcomes new neighbors, and increases community fellowship through the following annual events: the Tree Lighting in December and the Sweetheart Dance in February.

Ponte Vedra MSD is a Municipal Service District and deals with safety issues, hurricane preparedness & evacuations; code enforcement & traffic; yard waste & recycling. Individual trustees & contact information are listed at the end of this newsletter. MSD's website is here. MSD's 2025 newsletter is here.
