From PVCA Membership Board Members, John Lazzara and Chris Huppert

Join or Renew Your Membership with the Ponte Vedra Community Association!
Celebrating 80 Years of Community Connection

As the Ponte Vedra Community Association (PVCA) proudly celebrates its 80th year of fostering neighborhood unity, tradition, and goodwill, there’s no better time to become part of this vibrant and historic organization. Whether you’ve been here for decades or just moved in, PVCA membership is your invitation to participate in the events and efforts that make our community special.

Why Join the PVCA?

Membership in the PVCA offers exclusive access to three cornerstone functions that bring our neighbors together year after year:

  • Annual Christmas Tree Lighting & Toy Drive
Kick off the holiday season with one of Ponte Vedra's most cherished traditions. Enjoy festive lights, refreshments, and the joy of giving back during our toy drive for local children in need.  Welcome Santa to Ponte Vedra Beach as we light the community Christmas tree.
  • Valentine’s Sweetheart Dance
A beloved winter event for couples and friends alike! Celebrate the season of love with live music, dancing, and community cheer.
  • Annual Meeting
Stay informed and involved. The annual meeting provides members with important updates, opportunities for input, and plans for the future of our neighborhood.

Be a Community Ambassador

Our strength comes from our members. If you’re already part of PVCA, we encourage you to invite your neighbors and friends—especially those new to the area—to join or renew their membership. It’s a wonderful way to welcome others and strengthen the fabric of our Ponte Vedra community.

How to Join

Joining is quick and easy. Visit our website at pontevedraca.org or contact us directly. This association is fully funded through our memberships. Dues support our community events and initiatives throughout the year.

Let’s continue the tradition of connection, celebration, and civic pride that has defined PVCA for nearly eight decades—and make the upcoming year our best one yet.

Join today, and be a part of what makes Ponte Vedra Beach home.

All the best,

John Lazarra: drlazzara@gmail.com

Chris Huppert: chuppert1022@gmail.com

Are you signed up for AUTORENEWAL of your PVCA membership?

A fabulous new feature of our online platform: the ability to auto renew your PVCA membership! Auto renewal allows members to continue to be part of the PVCA without manually renewing every year.

In order to use this feature, you must pay your membership dues via credit card. The feature is not available to members who pay by Zelle or check.

If you are a new member, you are able to select the auto renewal feature when you sign up.

If you are a current member and cannot remember if you selected the auto renewal feature last year, follow the instructions below:

1. Sign into your account here.

2. Select MY ACCOUNT in the turquoise toolbar & scroll down to PREVIOUS ORDERS.

3. Select the MEMBERSHIP tab below the turquoise tab, and scroll down to see if you have selected auto-renew (it should say Yes or No). You can also change your selection there.

NOVEMBER 11TH IS VETERANS DAY!
Have you served in the US Military? Or do you know a neighbor or have a family member who has served?

Please send us that individual's name, address, rank, and the branch of the military in which that person served! We would like to highlight members of our community who have served our country and thank them for their service in PVCA's November newsletter. MSD News

The next MSD meeting is Monday, October 13th at 5:30 pm at the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch of the St Johns County Library in the FOL Room. The library is located at 101 Library Blvd

The public is encouraged to attend the MSD Board meeting and to express their opinions. Minutes from the August 11th meeting (most recent minutes that are available) are here.

Notes from the September 8th MSD meeting:

1. JEA will be installing new street lights on Ponte Vedra Boulevard (699-866 blocks).

2. The 100 block of Ponte Vedra Boulevard continues to be a hotspot for speeding.

The Difference Between PVCA & MSD

We have received many emails from PVCA members recently asking for help with code enforcement which is not within PVCA's purview.

PVCA is primarily a social organization that builds membership, welcomes new neighbors, and increases community fellowship through the following annual events: the Tree Lighting in December and the Sweetheart Dance in February.

Ponte Vedra MSD is a Municipal Service District and deals with safety issues, hurricane preparedness & evacuations; code enforcement & traffic; yard waste & recycling. Individual trustees & contact information are listed at the end of this newsletter. MSD's website is here. MSD's 2025 newsletter is here.
